Tools to ship as a solo developer.

Decennium Labs is an independent lab and digital publisher. We build neutral tools, methods, and field notes that let one operator run what used to require a team — and we document everything in public.

How we ship solo

Four levers that turn one operator into a team.

None of these are proprietary. All four are built on open primitives anyone can adopt. We document them as we use them so you can borrow what works.

Specialized agents replace an engineering team

Eleven role-specific agents (data, infra, code, strategy, QA, UX, content, growth, security, platform, ops) work the way a real council does — distinct expertise, hand-offs, written debate. The operator is the chair.

Impact

One operator covers the bandwidth of a 5–8 person team for everything except final approval.

Persistent memory keeps context out of your head

Hindsight stores the facts, decisions, gotchas, and references each project needs. Agents recall them on demand. Operator only carries what is being decided right now.

Impact

Context-switching cost drops from minutes to seconds — across 60+ active projects.

One repo, many sites, one CI matrix

Sixty-three production sites in a single Git repo. Path filters trigger deploys per affected site. GitHub Actions matrix parallelizes the work. Templates keep new sites at minutes-to-launch.

Impact

Marginal cost of site #64 is a `pnpm create` and a DNS record.

Cloudflare-first infrastructure with zero egress

R2 storage, Pages or static deploys, Workers AI for image generation, DNS + CDN integrated. Talos K8s cluster on Hetzner Helsinki for the long-running services.

Impact

Production-grade stack at hobbyist cost — currently ~€35/month for the whole cluster.

Things we ship

Tools we built for ourselves, then opened up.

Each product solves a specific bottleneck for one operator running many things. The descriptions name the productivity gain — not the feature list.
